You might have thought that what is he talking about, how less can be more?

My answer will be the same, yes, less is the new more.

In today’s life, we are busy or filled up with many things like shopping for new shoes, showing off, and doing the things that we don’t need.

Let’s say you’re working on a clothing project then it makes sense that you should have a vast knowledge of clothing, fashion, and related stuff.
However, if you don’t care about the latest fashion or you’re doing that thing just to show off then you are wasting your extra time there.

Our mind can handle many things, however, it comes at a huge cost.
As researchers say, “We can multitask but at the cost of quality of work.” We can also apply that to life.

But tell me, how less is more.

Okay, okay, okay…

10 focused hours of work on 1 thing or 1 hour of work on 10 things? — Obviously, the first one

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” — Leonardo da Vinci

Then the main thing to focus on here is: “Focus on the quality of things you value or those that add value to your life.”

Let’s take my example:

1. I don’t care about showing off new shoes, dresses or cool gadgets: I just wear some simple T-shirts, Jeans pairs.
2. Less News: I think media is more toward negative things.
3. I’m not foody, I can just eat what gives me the nutrients.
4. Worrying about negative things people say: I just focus on positive people, however, I take constructive feedback also.
5. The list goes on & on.

Question: But I want to fashion or research and I have to take care of a loss of stuff.

Okay, that’s your work. Less doesn’t say that you should cut down the work, you should just cut down the fields that don’t provide value to you. It’s that simple.
If you want to do fashion, we have to go through a lot of clothes or creative design or whatnot.
If you’re a researcher, I’m, then you have to go through a lot of papers, articles, blogs, etc. and that will create effective results.

To sum up, remove the things you don’t require, and focus on the things that matter to you.
* Less Stuff, more space.
* Less spending, more money.
* Fewer clothes, more closet space.

Conclusion or Action Points:

1. Find your redundant tasks and discard them.
2. Find your values, pursue them, or focus on them.

If you have any suggestions or comments just jot them down in the comments section. 👏👏👏
